Jeanne R.'s Story
Life
Grew up in Minnesota-lots of family still there-visit often. Moved to Santa Rosa, 50 miles north of San Francisco, in 1970. Spent 30+ years in the Human Resources profession. Retired in 2006. My son, Mike, lives in Mankato, MN. My partner Allan and I travel whenever and wherever we can!
College
College bio = eclectic. Spent a year at UofM before moving to CA. Worked and went to school nites -- AA from community college and BA program in human resources at Univ of San Francisco.
Workplace (updated 2/26/2016)
Worked at KTCA-TV (PBS) during HS; then at UofM '65-'70. In CA, spent 13 years at Santa Rosa City Schools, 7 of them in Personnel. Then 17 years in healthcare, all in HR. Have always loved traveling, reading, sports, and am reasonably accomplished at crochet and cross-stitch (very relaxing during my working years!). Learned to play golf when I retired, and quite to my amazement, I love it. Was always a team sports person, but golf is fun, especially with good friends. Right after retirement, we were able to take some long trips and visited the Maritime Provinces; China; New Zealand; lots of places in the states. Now, it's pretty much Arizona in March, MN for a week or so in the summer (never winter!), and short driving trips. Lots of reading, going to Oakland A's games and spending time with friends and family.

My partner Allan has 3 kids, 4 grandkids, and as of 2011, 3 great-grandkids. The three little cousins are a joy.
